We needed ice to chill our champagne we called downstairs numerous times no one answered. The only problem I had was trying to get in contact with someone at the front desk everytime my boyfriend or I needed to speak with the front desk staff no one answered the phone our entire stay actually someone did answer and that was for room service 1 time, after that no answered us again. I loved how the hotel staff paid close attention to detail Which made the stay even more enjoyable. I was very pleased that staff actually Shyanna upgraded our room to have a view of the water on a high floor and gave us a complimentary bottle of wine and fruit with a nice Happy Birthday card inside. Casinos are supposed to have a glitzy atmosphere that makes you want to stay but this one seemed to have old run down games and dated carpet and I just wasn't interested in staying there.I booked this room for my boyfriend's Birthday. They do have a few non smoking sections but since the smoke smell carries everywhere, these sections also smell like smoke. I was going to gamble for a little while after the comedy show but that cigarette smell was so unpleasant for me that I just left. I say it was dated because they didn't have any big screens advertising upcoming events. The event center where the comedy show was, seemed a little dated but it was clean and the seats were comfortable. A woman warned me that sometimes the kiosk doesn't work and she was right because I played the game at the kiosk and it told me that I had won something but no money was put on my card. After I got my players card I was supposed to go to a kiosk and get free money put on my card.

I had arrived about 40 minutes early for the show so I asked one of the workers where I could grab a quick bite to eat and she told me that the entire food court was closed for renovation and suggested the gift shop.No food at a casino! I know that casinos give you some free money if you are a first time visitor so I went to the booth to get one of those players cards but I didn't get any free money to start off with. It looked like this casino had not been updated since it was first built. I don't frequent casinos but as soon as I walked into this one, I took a trip back in time to the year 1979. As soon as I came into the building the smell of cigarette smoke arrested me. I came to this casino because the comedian Sinbad was doing a show here.
